Ogunlewe Addressing Residents And Stakeholders
The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barr Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, demonstrated proactive leadership by convening a crucial meeting with community stakeholders in Oworonsoki and Ifako areas last Saturday. The primary focus of this gathering was to develop effective strategies for mitigating flooding issues during the impending rainy season.
The meeting brought together a diverse group of community representatives, including members of Community Development Associations (CDAs) and Community Development Committees (CDCs), traditional rulers, and leaders from market and traders’ associations. The presence of HRM Oba Saliu Babatunde Saliu, the Oloworo of Oworonsoki kingdom, underscored the significance of the event.
This collaborative approach highlights the local government’s commitment to inclusive governance and community-driven solutions. By engaging directly with those most affected by seasonal flooding, Barr Ogunlewe aims to implement targeted and effective measures to safeguard residents and businesses in flood-prone areas of Kosofe.
