Mr. Ayodele Olawande, Minister Of State For Youth Development And Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe, Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government 

The Minister of State for Youth Development, Mr. Ayodele Olawande has exolled Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe on his Unprecedented achievements in three years as the executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area, Lagos State, Citizen NewsNG reports.

In his keynote address at the Local Government Secretariat on Friday 26 July 2024, Mr. Olawande expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Council Boss.

He stated that Hon. Ogunlewe’s Leadership has raised the bar of grassroot governance in Nigeria.

Continuing, he noted that Nigerian Youths can be trusted with Democratic power and Public administration.

“Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe’s Works are across the Local Government Area. Everyone can see his achievements in Infrastructure, Education development, Healthcare, Human Capital Development to mention a few”, the Minister emphasised.

“We are all happy for his achievements because he is a Youth; and that make us proud. He listens to the people and elders and act on their needs.He is also reaching out to the Grassroot through his Projects”.

Speaking to Citizen NewsNG on Planned Nationwide Protest, the Honourable Minister stated that every citizen has a right to protest but cautioned such action should be peaceful.

He however urged youths across the country to exercise patience and embrace dialogue. He also praised the youngsters for their resilience and hardwork.

Collaborating the Minister’s statement,
the Lagos State Commissioner for Local Government and Chietancy affairs, Mr. Bolaji Kayode Robert noted that Hon. Ogunlewe has set a standard for Local Governance.

“Hon. Ogunlewe’s scorecard is worth emulating, he has delivered on his campaign promises. We will continue to support his administration”, The Commissioner said.

While responding to questions from Citizen NewsNG, Hon. Ogunlewe vowed to make Kosofe a Model City. He enjoined the locals to pay their levies and rates regularly.

The Event witnessed a large turnout of Dignitaries across Lagos State and Nigeria.
