As part of the activities to mark three years of his administration, the Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe has commissioned three more RoadNetworks in the Anthony Village Community of the council area,
The roads include Mudi, Alade Lawal and Deji Adenuga Streets.
While unveiling the road infrastructure, Hon. Ogunlewe said the project became necessary to ease commuting and upscale economic activities within the Locality.
Most of the roads were deplorable untill the Intervention of the Ogunlewe-led administration.
In total, The Council Chair had constructed 35 Trunk C Roadnetworks.
Speaking with Citizen NewsNG, a Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon.
Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon stated that Hon. Ogunlewe had performed beyond expectations.
“Moyo Ogunlewe is a ‘Talk and Do’ Local Government Chairman. He has executed alot of projects; Road Infrastructure, Health, Education, Economic Empowerment to mention a few”. Hon. Okanlawon said.
The State Legislator described Hon. Ogunlewe as the best Chairman the Local Government has ever produced.
Hon. Okanlawon however declared total support for the Ogunlewe’s administration and endorsed him for a second term.
Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) Assistant Secretary and Resident of Anthony Village, Hon. Mrs. Adejumoke Animahun said the residents are excited about the road construction. She outlined the numerous projects the Ogunlewe’s administration had executed in the last three years. She also expressed appreciation to the Council Chairman onbehalf of the Constituents.
Mrs. Animahun tasked the residents to take ownership of the project and shun practices that could lead to degradation.
Citizen NewsNG findings showed that Hon. Ogunlewe had constructed a total of 35 Trunk C Roadnetworks in Kosofe Local Government Area and set to inaugurate 11 more.
To address persistent epileptic electricity supply, Hon. Ogunlewe distributed Eight Brand New 500KV Transformers to identified Kosofe Communities. The first of its kind in the Local Government Area.
The Community Development Committee(CDC) Chairman, Elder Babatunde Olusegun described the intervention initiative as a milestone. He expressed gratitude to Hon. Ogunlewe for his sterling performance.
On his part, Mr. Femi Ojo, the Chairman of WILIPAB/Ifako Community Development Association eulogised and declared support for Hon. Ogunlewe.

Mr. Ojo recalled that the faulty transformer serving the community was
not replaced since 1980 untill Hon. Ogunlewe visited. He also endorsed Ogunlewe for a second term.
Dignitaries present at the event were the Member Of the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon. Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon, the Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe, Honourable Councillors, Supervisors, Council Management, Community Leaders, Trade Unions, Residents and other Stakeholders .
