Customers of the popular fintech giant OPay experienced a tumultuous Friday, July 12th, 2024, as numerous reports surfaced of funds mysteriously vanishing from their accounts without a trace, TNDOnline Reports.

Many affected users attempted transfers only to encounter technical glitches that prevented successful transactions. Shockingly, neither were the funds refunded to their accounts nor were transaction receipts generated within the OPay app, renowned for its efficient payment services.

Outraged by the ordeal, several customers took to social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to express their frustrations and disappointment with OPay’s handling of the situation.

I did a transfer of 1.4m and during the transaction, a verification popped up for me to verify myself by looking into the camera and performing some tasks. You guys removed my money twice, from my wallet and from my Owealth, Owealth transaction was successful but the wallet transaction I can’t find a transaction history associated with it. The money wasn’t reversed but I was debited twice after experiencing failed payments twice

I initiated a transfer of 19,200 from my Opay acc, which displayed failed transaction . However, the transaction did not appear in my history,and I was debited without receiving the credit. I have been callin ur customer service line it’s not going.

I made a transaction and there was network error before I knew it my money was debited without any receipt to show for it. I’m getting tired of all this wey person dey try survive.
