Edo Governorship Election Collation Centre
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the collation of results for the Edo State governorship election, which took place on Saturday, will begin at 10 am today (Sunday).
This was confirmed in a statement released early Sunday morning by the Edo State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr. Anugbum Omuoha.
Omuoha reassured the public that the collation process would be conducted with full transparency, in line with INEC’s established guidelines.

The statement reads, “This is to inform the general public, stakeholders, and observers that the collation of results for the ongoing Edo State governorship election will resume today, Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 10 am.
“The commission’s commitment to ensuring the collation process follows the laid down guidelines, adding that the patience and cooperation of all parties involved were appreciated.
“We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the parties as we strive to ensure a credible and accurate outcome of this important election.”
Omuoha, however, appealed to all stakeholders to remain calm and orderly, stressing that INEC remains dedicated to delivering a free, fair, and transparent election in Edo State.
