The Remains Of The CNG Car 

An explosion occurred at the NIPCO filling station in Aduwawa, Edo State when a car using Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) exploded during refuelling.

A video obtained by SaharaReporters shows the aftermath of the explosion.

Eyewitnesses reported a chaotic scene as bystanders rushed to assist the injured persons.

It was gathered that several individuals sustained injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

However, there has been no confirmation regarding any fatalities.

Meanwhile, the explosion reportedly caused damage to several vehicles waiting in line for refuelling.

When SaharaReporters contacted Edo State Police Command spokesperson Moses Yamu stated, “I have not gotten that information yet. Please, I will find out and get back to you.”
