Great people of Kosofe Local Government Area,

As we commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to you all. This milestone offers us an opportunity to reflect on our journey as a nation and, more specifically, as a community within Lagos State.

We find ourselves at a critical juncture in our nation’s history. The challenges we face—economic pressures, security concerns, and social inequalities—are substantial. However, it is in times like these that the resilience and ingenuity of Nigerians shine brightest. Here in Kosofe, we have witnessed first-hand the determination of our people to thrive despite adversity.

Our local government has made significant strides in infrastructure development, healthcare provision, and educational support. These achievements are a testament to what we can accomplish when we work together with a shared vision. Yet, we acknowledge that there is still much work to be done.

As we celebrate our independence, let us renew our commitment to building a more prosperous and inclusive Kosofe.
