The Newly Constructed Ogudu-Alapere Pedestrian Bridge
In a significant development for Kosofe Local Government, the Lagos State Government has completed the reconstruction and reopening of the Ogudu/Alapere Pedestrian Bridge. The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the state government and Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for their commitment to improving local infrastructure.
The newly constructed bridge is set to enhance pedestrian safety, preventing potential accidents caused by residents crossing the busy road. Additionally, it aims to facilitate smoother traffic flow by eliminating obstruction from crossing pedestrians.
Barrister Ogunlewe lauded the project as a testament to the Lagos State Government’s dedication to the welfare of Kosofe residents and Lagosians in general. The bridge’s completion marks a significant step towards safer and more efficient urban mobility in the area.
This development aligns with the local motto, “Ilọsiwaju Ibile Kosofe lo jẹwa logun”, emphasising progress and development in the Kosofe community.
