Revered King of Fuji music, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1, on Wednesday recognized the hard work and loyalty of his longest serving band member, Fatai Oluperi Ayinla.

On New Year’s Day, the Fuji King along with his band members attended the New Year Dance, an event held at the Balmoral Convention Center at Sheraton, Lagos.

Before his performance, KWAM 1 standing on the stage called Ayinla, and praised him for been an invaluable asset to the entire band for the last 20 years, he testified of his dedication before his fans and appreciated him for helping the band grow.

While he presented to Ayinla, a big cheque of N20 million as a token of his appreciation, he also said a prayer for him.

Ayinla, who looked visibly happy hugged his boss and was congratulated by other members of the band who posed for pictures with him and his cheque.

Adding to his good fortune, Nollywood Star Actor and Film Producer, Femi Adebayo, also made a donation of N500,000 to Ayinla.
