Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has announced his first-ever starting lineup as Nigeria faces Rwanda in a 2026 World Cup qualifier on Friday evening in Kigali.

Osimhen, Lookman Lead Attack

Chelle has selected a formidable attack featuring Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze.

In midfield, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi start, while Stanley Nwabali gets the nod as the first-choice goalkeeper.

The defense consists of Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, and captain William Troost-Ekong.

Nwabali; Aina, Ekong, Bassey, Osayi; Ndidi, Iwobi, Chukwueze, Simon; Lookman, Osimhen.
