The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially welcomed Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, and his supporters back into the party.

Jandor, the 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), announced his return to the APC on Monday, weeks after resigning from the PDP due to internal crises and a lack of party discipline.

Reacting to his return, Lagos APC spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, expressed the party’s excitement, stating that Jandor now recognizes that Lagos is best governed by the progressives who have maintained public trust over the years.

“He is welcome home. We believe there is ample opportunity for him to contribute to the success of our government and the growth of our party. More defections are expected in the coming days,” Oladejo said.
