President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has met with all members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, the Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and other key state leaders at Aso Rock Villa, Abuja. The high-level meeting is presumed to be a critical intervention in the ongoing leadership crisis rocking the Lagos Assembly.

The crisis, which has seen tensions escalate between Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, Deputy Speaker Mojisola Meranda, and other lawmakers, has raised concerns over governance and stability in the state. The presence of all Lagos lawmakers and party leaders at the meeting underscores the significance of Tinubu’s involvement in resolving the internal struggles.
