Plateau State has confirmed five cholera cases and three deaths in Bokkos LGA, with 20 suspected cases. Health Commissioner Dr. Nicholas Baamlong said oral rehydration and treatment centers have been activated.

Poor sanitation, limited clean water, and displacement from recent attacks are contributing factors. Residents are urged to maintain hygiene and report symptoms promptly.
