
The Federal Government has approved plans by China to establish electric vehicle factories in Nigeria, following high-level talks between both nations. Chinese Ambassador Yu Dunhai announced the move during a visit to Solid Minerals Minister Dele Alake, highlighting Nigeria’s mineral wealth and market potential.
Alake emphasized Nigeria’s focus on local value addition, urging full-cycle investments from extraction to manufacturing. Dunhai reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s industrialization and compliance with local laws.
