
The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the official list of its chairmanship candidates for the upcoming local government elections across the 57 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state.
The comprehensive list, made public by the Lagos APC Electoral Committee led by renowned legal practitioner Babatunde Ogala, SAN, features tested grassroots politicians, technocrats, and community leaders, chosen through a keenly contested internal selection process.
Among councils which had not been previously announced, the Lagos APC has now confirmed chairmanship candidates for Lagos Mainland and Yaba. Emilagba Kolawole emerged as the party’s flagbearer for Lagos Mainland Local Government, while Bayo Adefuye secured the ticket for Yaba LCDA.
