
Elder statesman and Chairman of the Lagos Governor’s Advisory Council, Prince Dr. Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi has been conferred with the chieftaincy title of Atobatele of Ado-Ekiti Kingdom.
The well attended ceremony took place at the palace of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti.
According to the traditional ruler, HRM Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, the chieftaincy title was bestowed on Pa Olusi in recognition of his inestimable contributions to the yoruba culture and nation building.
Oba Aladesanmi lauded Pa Olusi’s statesmanship and leadership acumen.
He noted that the title conferred on the Lagos prince will solidify the relationship between Ekiti and Lagos.
Dignitaries present at the cultural event were the state governor Mr. Biodun Oyebanji and his Lagos counterpart Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Senate Leader, Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele, Lagos Island LG APC Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Taiwo Oyekan and a host of others.
