Senate President Godswill Akpabio has removed Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (Kogi Central) as Chair of the Senate Committee on Diaspora and NGOs.

This comes months after she was earlier removed as Chair of the Local Content Committee. She now holds no committee leadership role.

Senator Aniekan Bassey (Akwa Ibom North East) has been named her replacement.
