Peter Rufai, a former goalkeeper of the Super Eagles is dead, Citizen NewsNG reports.

According to Radio Nigeria, Rufai passed on Thursday morning, July 3, 2025, after a protracted illness.

The family is yet to issue a statement on the demise of the football legend.
