Doctors under the National Association of Government General and Dental Practitioners in Ondo State have launched a three-day warning strike over unpaid salaries, allowances, and staffing shortages. The action, which began Monday, disrupted services in state hospitals.
The doctors cited unpaid hazard and promotion allowances, salary shortfalls, and increased taxation. They warned of an indefinite strike if demands are unmet. The state government says it is addressing the issues and has begun payments.
