The Lagos State Assembly has passed the Tenancy Bill through second reading to clarify landlord-tenant rights, rent terms, and eviction rules. Speaker Mudashiru Obasa said the bill aims to modernize housing laws.

Lawmakers called for an enforcement body. It now moves to the Housing Committee for further review.
