The Senate has hailed President Tinubu for allocating $3 billion from a newly approved $21 billion loan to revive the Eastern Rail Line, calling it a major step toward addressing regional infrastructure gaps.

In related actions, the Senate approved a N105.1 billion 2025 budget for RMAFC and confirmed Senator Tijani Kaura to the SSDC board after completing screening.
