The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld Senator Monday Okpebholo’s election as Edo State Governor, dismissing the appeal by PDP candidate Asue Ighodalo for lack of merit.

The court ruled that Ighodalo failed to prove claims of over-voting and electoral irregularities, affirming earlier decisions by the tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
