The Federal Government says N3.8 trillion is required to fix severe underwater damage on Lagos’ Third Mainland Bridge, caused by sand mining, erosion, and corrosion.

Works Minister David Umahi said FEC has approved plans for specialist contractors to investigate and design either a full rehabilitation or reconstruction under a PPP arrangement. Similar works are planned for other bridges nationwide.
