… Tasks APC Ward Chairmen, Youth Leaders To Showcase President’s Landmark Achievements To Electorate
As the 2027 presidential election approaches, the executive chairman of Lagos Island local government, Hon. Taiwo Oyekan has set machinery in motion to mobilize eligible voters for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Unveiling the grassroot mobilisation team, ‘PTO YOUTH MOVEMENT For ASIWAJU 2027’, Hon. Oyekan said it was set up to foster membership drive and resounding electoral victory for President Tinubu at the poll.
The political team’s slogan is ‘Ajumose Asiwaju 2027’
As part of his strategic plan, the executive chairman met with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward chairmen and youth leaders across the area council.
He urged the party chieftains and
youth leaders to embark on grassroots mobilisation and showcase Mr. President’s landmark achievements to the electorate.
“Our core objective is to ensure that President Tinubu is reelected for second term.”
“With his Renewed Hope Agenda, President Tinubu has redirected Nigeria to the progressive path,” he said.
The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos Island chapter, Alh. Ganiu Sadiq stated that the inauguration of the political group is germane to the victory of Tinubu. He charged the ward chairmen and honourable councillors to canvass for Mr. President in their respective political wards.
On his part, the Chair of Ward Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Sheu Aromire commended Hon. Oyekan’s leadership acumen. He stated that the League of Ward Chairman will collaborate with the mobilization team to foster seamless political campaign activities.
