Contrary to widespread reports claiming that popular Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Chatta lost his son, his colleague, Opeyemi Aiyeola has clarified that the actor did not lose his biological child.

Taking to her Instagram page on Sunday, the actress addressed the rumours, stating: “Ibrahim Chatta didn’t lose his biological son, but a godson who was like a son to him.”

“May his pure soul continue to rest peacefully… It’s been an extremely emotional ride so far. God have mercy.”

For those who don’t know, the rumours began after Chatta shared an emotional post on his Instagram page that read:

“You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, dear son. Champ.”

The post led many to assume he had lost his biological son, prompting the clarification from Aiyeola.
