Bandits struck Bokungi Village in Edu LGA, Kwara State on Wednesday, killing two rice farmers and abducting four others during harvest.

The attackers ambushed the farmers around 6 p.m., shooting two who tried to resist. Rising insecurity in the area has forced many farmers to flee their settlements. Police have yet to comment.
