A policeman and a scavenger have been crushed to death by a speeding driver at Ilubirin, inward Simpson, in the Lagos Island area.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA)’s Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, Adebayo Taofiq, said the driver of the Toyota Camry vehicle was travelling at an excessive and dangerous speed.

Taofiq said the driver then” lost control and veered off his lane, forcefully striking both a scavenger and a police officer who was on a motorcycle.
