Three Nigerians—Abdulhamid Sadieq, Maryam Hussein Abdullahi, and Bahijah Aminu Abdullahi—have been released from Saudi Arabia after authorities found they were wrongly linked to a drug smuggling case.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Consulate in Jeddah, with NDLEA support, secured their release and lifted travel bans. Maryam and Bahijah returned to Nigeria in November, while arrangements are underway for Sadieq.
