The All Progressives Congress (APC) controls 29 of Nigeria’s 36 states, dominating the South-South, North-Central, and North-West regions, while maintaining majorities in the South-East, South-West, and North-East.

Only a few states remain under opposition parties, including Abia (LP), Anambra (APGA), Oyo (PDP), Osun (Accord), Adamawa (PDP), Bauchi (PDP), and Zamfara (PDP).
