Nollywood actress and evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, has spoken out over fears for her safety, saying her life and ministry are under serious threat.

Anunobi shared a video on Instagram on Sunday where she warned that any harm to her, her family members, or her properties in Nigeria or abroad should be blamed on Apostle Psalm Okpe, founder of Fresh Oil Ministry in Egbeda, Lagos, and his family.

She also stated that she is willing to undergo a medical examination to prove that she has not been sexually active for almost 14 years since she was ordained into ministry.

In the video, Anunobi explained that she decided to speak after seeing various stories spreading online about her.

She said she remains firm in her calling and will not allow any attempt to distract or weaken her work.

She explained that Apostle Okpe was the person who ordained her and that she once served as an associate pastor in his ministry.

According to her, with time she began to notice practices she described as evil, disturbing, and unhealthy, including what she called transactional ways of running the ministry.

She said the environment became unbearable for her.

Anunobi stated that she officially asked to leave the ministry toward the end of 2015.

However, she alleged that years after her exit, Okpe continued to tell people that she was still under his ministry, which she said was false.

She also reacted to claims credited to Okpe that he was in a romantic relationship with her for several years.

She described the claim as malicious and said it caused her deep emotional pain.

She added that the allegation fits into what she described as long-standing attempts to damage her name and ministry.

The actress and evangelist confirmed that she has taken the matter to court and has filed a defamation suit against Okpe.

She wrote: “My life is at risk My Ministry is under attack If anything happens to me, my material possessions/acquisitions and family members here in Nigeria and outside Nigeria, as in physical injury/harm or death, Apostle Psalm Okpe, founder of Fresh Oil Ministry, Egbeda, Lagos, Nigeria, and his entire family should be held responsible Note: I am ready to be taken for medical examination to ascertain if I have been having sex in almost 14 years (almost fourteen years) if there is anything like that, since I have been ordained (midwifed into Ministry) ”
