The incident is said to have occurred yesterday, January 29, in Owo, Ondo state. According to eyewitnesses, the man, who had a prescription for medications with him, appears to have been trying to cross to the pharmacy on the other side of the road when he slumped. His phone and the prescription were shown at the scene as passersby tried to find clues to locate his loved ones.

Photos and videos of the man have been shared online in the hope of reaching anyone who knows him.
