The Nigerian Army announced that applications for Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 29/2026 open Wednesday, January 7, and close February 4, 2026.

The DSSC is open to civilians and serving personnel across the Engineers, Signals, Medical, Electrical & Mechanical, and Education Corps. Applications are free and online via recruitment.army.mil.ng.

Applicants must register, upload required documents—including photo, certificates, NIN/BVN, and proof of origin—and select their corps and service status. For inquiries, call 08179269294 or 08109959294 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.
