A 33-year-old Nigerian professional, Victoria Kemi Adedoyin, has been found dead in her home in Canada, sending shockwaves through her family, friends, and the wider community.

Kemi was a highly accomplished executive working with a multinational company in Canada. According to reports, she attended church on Sunday, January 18, 2026, and went to work the following Monday before returning home later that day.

She was scheduled to join an online meeting with senior company executives that same Monday. When she failed to log in and could not be reached by phone or messages, concern grew.

Police were alerted and officers later forced entry into her residence, where they discovered her lifeless body.

Initial reports indicated that the coroner suspected a brain aneurysm as the possible cause of death. However, this claim was later withdrawn due to insufficient evidence.

Her sudden passing has left many unanswered questions and deep sorrow among those who knew her.
