The Lagos State Government has stated that it would reintroduce the monthly environmental sanitation exercise from March, Citizen NewsNG reports.

This follows increasing waste generation and drainage blockages.

Citizen NewsNG recalls that the exercise was suspended in 2016.

The cleanup will hold on the last Saturday of each month.
