The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) impounded 27 Danfo buses and several private cars for traffic and safety breaches during a statewide enforcement operation.

General Manager Olalekan Bakare-Oki said the crackdown targeted overloaded vehicles, which obstruct visibility, destabilise cars, and raise crash risks. He warned that LASTMA will maintain zero tolerance for traffic violations and urged motorists to follow loading limits and ensure roadworthy vehicles.
