A baby boy has become the first in the UK born to a mother who received a womb transplant from a deceased donor.

Grace Bell, born without a functioning womb due to MRKH syndrome, delivered Hugo in December 2025 after a 2024 transplant and IVF treatment, marking a milestone in UK reproductive medicine.
