Taiwo’s death was announced earlier in the month, although the cause of death was not disclosed.
In a now-viral video, Kehinde shared that his brother was in good spirits and very active just hours before his collapse.
According to him, Saturday had been a typical day for the pair, concluding with their steadfast nightly routine. He said they prayed as usual on Saturday night before parting ways for the evening.

He said around 10pm, he went to Taiwo’s room to remind him about the next day’s church service.
“We used to have our night prayer at 9pm everyday. We prayed together at 9pm on Saturday and everyone went to bed,” he said.
“At about 10pm, I went to Taiwo’s room to tell him that church service was 10am the next day. He was playing games on his phone and he replied that he would sleep early.”

Kehinde revealed that just before 11pm, he heard a knock at his door. It was Taiwo, complaining of a sharp pain in his chest.
The singer said he insisted they go to the hospital, which was about five minutes from their home.
Thinking it was a routine visit, the brothers went to the hospital together, never anticipating that Taiwo would not return.
Born in Oyo, the twins dedicated their lives to gospel music, becoming pillars of the Yoruba gospel scene.
Their journey to prominence began with the release of their debut album ‘Faratimi (Lean on Me)’ in 1999. The project was a resounding success, establishing them as vital new voices in contemporary Christian music.
