A sand-laden truck on Tuesday rammed the main gate of the Gombe State Government House, causing major damage.

The gate, part of ongoing renovations under Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, was not yet commissioned. No casualties were reported; the driver is receiving treatment. The incident is under investigation.
