The Aare Onakankanfo of Yoruba Land, Aare Gani Adams celebrates the second installation anniversary in a well attended Ceremony in Lagos.
Ahead of the Second Installation Anniversary Celebration, the Aare Onakankanfo, Aare Gani Adams bestowed Chieftancy titles on Seventeen carefully selected and screened Yoruba Sons and Daughters who have distinguished themselves in their various Fields, Characters and every facet of Life.
At the Ceremony, the Aare said “five hundred Candidates were Shortlisted for the Chieftancy titles, but a high level Committee was set up to screen the Candidates to come up with the Quality People in Character and deeds”.
During an interview Session, the Aare said, though, he actually planned to celebrate the anniversary in a low key but most of his Chiefs and Associates felt otherwise. As a result, he had to restrategize and put resources together.
Aare Adams restated his commitment to celebrate the anniversary annually.
Dignitaries Present at the Anniversary Celebration were Traditional Rulers and their Chiefs, Chief and Chief (Mrs.) Abiodun Kuku, foremost Yoruba Actor, Alhaji Jimoh Aliu, the Director of Ekiti Arts and Culture, Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre, Afenifere Spokesperson, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, Dr. Joe Odumakin, friends and Business Associates of the Celebrant and a host of others.
The Yoruba Traditional Cultures were showcased to the World amid Merriment.
