The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, Prince Dr
Ifalade Oyekan has harped on the need for collaboration among all Agencies of
Government in Lagos State, especially those in charge of providing security for lives and properties of residents of the State.
Prince Oyekan while hosting officials of the Lagos State Law Enforcement
Training Institute- LETI, on a visitation to the Agency said there can be little or no progress without a symbiotic relationship between the various Agencies
of the Government.
He added that the vision of the Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is clear on the
safety and security of the people and their properties as enshrined in the THEMES Agenda, affirming that only a close working relationship between the Government agencies can make the vision a reality.
Prince Oyekan thanked the Governor for his clear vision and he also promised
to be at the beck and call of the Institute as it concerns the training of Neighborhood Officers, just as he advised the Institute to be clear and concise in its vision to the Agency in order to facilitate a seamless working relationship.
He promised a more active participation of the officers of the Agency in the
activities of the LETI, being an arm of government with complementary mandate with Neighborhood Safety Agency.
The Team from LETI were conducted round the Agency’s facilities to familiarise with the vision of Neighborhood Safety Agency with a view to aid in the development of a cordial
working relationship between the two Agencies of Government.
It would be recalled that Prince Oyekan was once the head of LETI at a point, where
he made sterling progress in the operations of the Institute.
