In his Intensified effort to scale-up knowledge acquisition among Students on Lagos Island, The Deputy Leader Of Lagos Island Local Government Legislative Arm, Hon. Taiwo Oyekan facilitated a ‘Back-To-School CSR Initiative’ tagged ‘LASAA SCHOOL STORM 2024’.
The Education Development Programme was organised by the Lagos State Signage And Advertisement Agency (LASAA) at the Holy Trinity Primary School, Ebute-Ero, Lagos Island, Lagos on Thursday 26 September, 2024.
One Hundred (100) School Bags, over Two Hundred (200) Exercise Books and other Learning materials were distributed to the Pupils.
In his Address, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of LASAA, Prince Fatiu Akiolu stated that the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative was conceived to inspire Public Primary School Pupils in learning and lessen financial burden on Parents and Guardians.
He charged the Pupils to concentrate on their Studies and shun bad peer groups.
According to him, a large quantity of Used Flex Banners materials were recycled to produce the School Bags.
Continuing, Prince Akiolu reiterated LASAA’s Commitment to Promoting Qualitative Education and Environmental Sustainability towards complementing Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Agenda in Lagos.
On his part, Hon. Oyekan expressed appreciation to the Management of the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency and Prince Akiolu.
“We look forward to more partnerships to further upscale knowledge acquisition among students on Lagos Island Local Government Area”, The Lagos Council Deputy Leader said:
The Education Secretary, Lagos Island Local Government Area, Alh. Qudus Abari, represented by Mr. Bankole Olushola Olusegun thanked the LASAA Team. He urged the Agency to expand its Reach-out Programme in the Council Area.
While expressing gratitude onbehalf of the School Management, the HeadTeacher of Holy Trinity Primary School, Mr. Shorinola Da-Silva noted that the education Intervention programme would encourage learning among the Pupils.
