The University of Ibadan Senate has approved the withdrawal of 226 undergraduates from the 2024/2025 session for scoring a CGPA below 1.0. Affected students, spanning all faculties from 100 to 500 levels, have been denied portal access, ending their programmes.

Faculty breakdown: Science (79), Technology (45), Agriculture (35), Medicine and Education (18 each), Renewable Natural Resources (10), Arts (9), Economics & Management (4), Law (3), Veterinary Medicine (2), and Environmental Design & Management (3).
