As Students resume for second term academic session in Lagos today, Monday 6 January, 2025, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing Universal Basic Education and Infrastructure in Primary Schools across the Council Area.

Ogunlewe disclosed this in a Press statement signed and obtained by Citizen NewsNG.

The Statement Read:

I warmly welcome our dedicated teachers and beloved students back to school for the new academic term. Having recently completed my inspection tour of all 18 public primary schools in Kosofe Local Government Area, I better understand the challenges facing our educational system.

I assure you that my administration is committed to improving school infrastructure and providing essential learning resources. This commitment follows our ongoing educational support programmes and the recent construction of modern 10 classrooms block, fully furnished at Mosafejo Nursery and Primary School, Oworonsoki.

To our esteemed teachers, your dedication is invaluable. To our dear students, embrace this fresh start with determination. Together, we shall build a stronger educational foundation in Kosofe.
