The spokesperson of the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, has advised women to guard their hearts and observe vigilance when dealing with philanders.
In commemoration of Mother’s Day, SP Adeh took to her X page, to urge women to protect their finances and future from men who have a history of betraying another woman’s trust before entering into a relationship with them.
She emphasized that emotions were fleeting, and the title of being in a relationship can be deceiving. She cautioned women to be vigilant and not celebrate another woman’s heartbreak, warning that the same partner could potentially hurt them in the future.
She wrote,
“A man who easily replaces a woman will do it again. How he treats women is a reflection of his character, his children are watching (if any), and so is the world. My fellow gender, no title is worth losing your dignity over. If he left her for you, don’t celebrate just yet-your turn may come. Protect your heart, your finances and your future. Don’t mistake temporary passion for lasting love.
Love is sweet but wisdom is necessary. Happy Mother’s Day.”
