Police in Kwara have arrested three women—Aisha Haruna, Rabi Umaru, and Fatimoh Abubakar—for allegedly smuggling arms to a kidnap gang.

They were nabbed at Babanla Motor Park with an AK-47 rifle and 31 rounds of ammunition hidden in a bag. One suspect confessed the weapon was sourced from Kaduna and meant for delivery to a forest hideout in Baba-Sango.

Police also arrested two men in Share with N11.3 million suspected ransom. One female suspect remains at large.
