The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has opened an investigation into the altercation between passenger Comfort Emmason and Ibom Air crew member Julie Edwards.

NCAA spokesperson Michael Achimugu said its directorates on aviation security, operations, licensing, legal, and consumer protection are handling the probe. Emmason, earlier banned by Airline Operators of Nigeria before the sanction was rescinded, is meeting investigators alongside her lawyer.
