K1 De Ultimate

Fuji star King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly K1 De Ultimate, has formally declared his intention to vie for the vacant Awujale of Ijebuland throne. In a letter to the Fusengbuwa Ruling House, he cited his ancestry in the Oba Jadiara lineage and highlighted his decades-long contribution to Yoruba culture, as well as titles including Mayegun of Yorubaland and MON.

His declaration comes five months after the death of Oba Sikiru Adetona.
