The Federal Government will establish fire stations in all public universities, polytechnics, and colleges to boost fire prevention and protect lives and assets.

FFS Controller General Samuel Olumode Adeyemi said the initiative with TETFund is part of broader reforms to strengthen operational readiness and public safety.

Recent achievements include 2,620 officer promotions, 40 upgraded fire appliances, and training 7,400 Nigerians in fire safety through collaborations with state agencies and private partners.
