Niger state partners with Vaswani to establish Chili industry

As part of efforts to encourage investments in Niger state, the Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello says it is partnering with Vaswani Group to establish a chili manufacturing plant in the state.

The Governor made this known during an investment session between Niger state government and the Vaswani Group at the Lagos Free Trade zone in Lekki, Lagos.

He acknowledged the readiness of the Vaswani group of Companies in establishing manufacturing plant in the state.

Governor Bello disclosed that the Voswani Group had already acquired five thousand hectares of land for the plant.

The group’s chairman, Mr Mohan Vaswani, assured the Niger State of his company’s desire to work closely with the state for its rapid development.

Highlights of the meeting was the inspection of some of the factories at the Lagos free Trade zone including the proposed Lekki Port which is the largest Private Public Partnership (PPP) in Nigeria.
