TELEPHONE LANGUAGES AND ETIQUETTE

Do not say: “I saw your missed call”.
Say: “I missed your Call”

Do not say: “Your voice is cracking”.
Say: “The line is breaking”.

Do not say: “Flash me”.
Say: “Give me a drop-call, beep me, or give me a beep”.

Do not say: “I am hearing you”.
Say: “I can hear you”.

Do not say: “Come again”.
Say: “I can’t hear you”.

Dip not interupt conversation,listen, comprehend and respond.

Do not raise voice tone or use uncivilized or rude words over the Phone.

Do not use informal words or Speech during formal/Official Conversation.

Do not hangup until conversation is concluded between the Two or more Parties in the case of Conference Calls.

The Caller, Party A should end the Call not the Receiver,Party B.

Opening Greetings should be lively most especially Formal or Official Calls.
